What is PetTandem?
PetTandem is an iPhone app that helps the people who care for a pet share daily routines like feeding, walks, and medication, so everyone can see what’s done and what’s next.
Can more than one person care for the same pet?
Yes, that’s what it’s built for. The Owner, who sets up the Care Team, can invite family, partners, and sitters, and each person sees the same up-to-date care plan for the pets they have access to.
How do routines work?
You create a routine for feeding, walking, medication, or something custom, choose the times and days it repeats, and add optional instructions for caregivers. Each day, your routines become Today’s shared checklist.
Does PetTandem support more than one pet?
Yes. PetTandem is designed for households with more than one pet, and each pet has their own profile, routines, and care timeline.
How does caregiver access work?
Only the Owner can send invitations, and they go out by email only. Owners and Household Partners choose which pets a caregiver can see, for a set time or ongoing. Caregivers can’t edit pet profiles or routines, and care is recorded by whoever is the current Care Lead, which can be handed off to someone else.
Is there an Android version?
No. PetTandem is built for iPhone (iOS) only, and there is no Android version at this time.
Does PetTandem have paid plans?
No. PetTandem doesn’t currently offer subscriptions, paid plans or in-app purchases.
Does PetTandem give veterinary advice?
No. PetTandem records what you and your caregivers do and note. It doesn’t diagnose, recommend treatment, or replace your veterinarian.
