Delete your PetTandem account
You can start account deletion from the PetTandem iPhone app. This page explains the process and what to consider before you confirm.
How to request deletion
- Open PetTandem and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open the app's account or settings screen.
- Select Delete account.
- Read the confirmation notice, then confirm your choice. You may be asked to verify your identity.
If you cannot access your account, email support@pettandem.app for help. Emailing support is not required if you can start deletion in the app.
What deletion means
Account deletion is meant to remove your account and its associated personal information, except information that must lawfully be kept. Because care information can be shared by several people, deleting an account can affect other users and shared records. Review any ownership or caregiver responsibilities before you delete.
The app should ask you to confirm before anything irreversible happens.
If you have a subscription
If you bought an auto-renewable subscription through Apple, deleting your PetTandem account does not necessarily cancel it. Manage any active subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions or on Apple's subscriptions page.
